The Fast Track

Classic academic education has its place, but for those who want to begin work sooner, the Open Source Academy offers a fast track to success. Even before graduation, students in the enterpreneurial track will be able to start billing clients right away, and for those on the career track, Open Source Academy will help to place successful students with top companies paying good wages.

Resources

Students of the Open Source Academy have full (root) access to their own server from the first week in class. Remote access to this server is 24/7. With this kind of access, Apache, MySQL, Ruby on Rails, PHP as well as a deeper understanding of networking and development is assured. Since students will be operating production servers from the begining, Systems Administration is built into every program.

Classroom Training

Our programs provide a strong foundation in a classroom setting, taught by working professionals in the field. Labs follow lecture for hand-on application of the matieral. There's nothing theoretical about it. Just plain old-fashioned hard work.

Online Education

24/7 Classes

All of our programs include an online component, so students can progress at their own schedule. Learning has never been easier and more convenient.

Learn by Doing

Every one of our students enrolled in the 1-year comprehensive program will have an opportunity to work in the industry under a working professional early on during their study. Within months, students can be working, gaining experience, and resume' time.
